It's Time To Heal

I am a healer. It feels good to own that identity. While many of you may be thinking, "Yes, we know," it still feels significant to me.

I think we all experience that moment. Your purpose often feels larger than life… because it is. In my case, I have some notions around what qualifies a person to be a healer and I’ve been working through those. I am a healer. I heal people, businesses, communities and I’ve also facilitated healing within our ancestral lineage.

I’m glad I get to share that with you. I appreciate your seeing me and understanding a bit more of what I am here to do in the world. It’s mutual, because as I get to know you individually, I can also discern your purpose. It's part of my divine gifting.

Black Women Heal

A few days ago I began to record an idea that was rapidly being downloaded to me. Later I realized that an entire healing flowed through me into that recording. It was for black women. As I was recording, I began to understand why.

I want to emphasize that I am called to serve humanity. There are specific communities of people that I am to nurture more deeply but that has to do with what God needs that community to know about Their love for them. I walk in love and love is for all. Like many of you might have wondered, I asked, "Why focus specifically on Black women?" God responded in such a beautiful and profound way. I’ll come back to that in a moment.

The healing that flowed through me chronicled how black women came to be in this place. It is a paradox of epic proportions. People often refer to Black women as if we are superhuman (which, we kinda are...) yet at the same time, we endure suffering, disrespect and disregard in ways that are simply mind blowing. That is, of course, my perspective. God, however, was more interested in helping me understand why and how we got to this place. We are often too exhausted to wear the cape, yet we continue to do so, seemingly because no one else will.

Seriously though, there are deep generational traumas, behavior patterns, learned acceptance and our lived traumas that inform how we move through the world. Culturally, I see some differences in how we rally together in comparison to many other cultures in the US. There is both a reason and an intention behind that. I understand that God is calling us to change that through our healing journey.

On Thursday of this week, I will lead a session that takes us into that healing work. For my inner circle and those you’d like to invite, we will have an intimate space on zoom. There will also be a broadcast of the healing session on YouTube for people to experience the healing capsule. You can share that as well with your broader circle. I appreciate it and I know the world will thank you as we continue to experience the benefits of our collective healing.

So, gathering black women together is one big step to continue the work we have been doing to heal. There is more to come, in fact, I’ve known for a while that healing the relationship in the black family was a part of my divine assignment. It impacts all families because despite how it seems, we are actually all connected.

This brings me back to the question I mentioned earlier. God responded, "You can love your neighbor, but still not invite them into family therapy." I leaned back and took that in. True. Sometimes we need a safe and intimate space to address the things we might not be aware of so that we can heal with each other. That is precisely my intention for Thursday's session.

Please share, repost and invite black women to experience it with you. If you are not a black woman, share it and send love as we do this healing work. It will all come full circle. That's God's plan.

Peace and Blessings!

The Clarion Call for Healing

In the rush and chaos of modern life, I feel the call for deeper exploration into personal and collective healing growing louder every day. Messages about healing are everywhere—woven into our digital spaces, our conversations, and the quiet moments we spend reflecting on our lives. In The Clarion Call for Healing, I emphasize that healing isn’t just about personal growth—it’s essential for transforming the world around us.

The Integral Role of Healing

Healing is not just an individual journey; it’s a shared responsibility that connects us to a higher purpose. I truly believe that “the truth of all things sits right here in this moment. We cannot be all of who we are called to be without doing the healing work.” Healing unlocks our true potential, both personally and collectively, allowing us to step fully into who we are meant to be and contribute meaningfully to the world.

Overcoming Preconceptions and Building Equitability

Healing also requires us to examine the societal norms that shape our experiences, particularly the inequities that persist for women and people of color. Reflecting on my own journey in the corporate world, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges women of color face—barriers that are often dismissed or overlooked. But acknowledging these disparities doesn’t diminish anyone else’s experience; instead, it fosters mutual understanding and respect. True healing means moving beyond simply recognizing inequality and actively working to create a world where equity is the standard, not the exception.

Collective Healing: The Ripple Effect

The work we do to heal ourselves has the power to transform the world around us. “The healing that we do on ourselves creates a pathway for us to create change and transformation in the world.” When we engage in our own healing, we break cycles of trauma, create safer spaces for vulnerability, and build environments where empathy and progress thrive. This ripple effect has the potential to shift not just individual lives, but entire communities and societal structures.

Embracing the Journey

Healing isn’t a destination—it’s an ongoing journey. It’s about continuously seeking deeper understanding, growth, and connection. When we commit to this process, we invite transformation into our lives, and in turn, into the world. As we each take ownership of our healing, we weave together a collective movement of love, equity, and compassion—one that has the power to reshape the world for generations to come.

While I Was Busy Loving You I wonder how many hours an individual spends thinking about their love relationships. From being a lovestruck teenager to navigating adult dating to keeping a marriage healthy and connected, there has to be thousands of hours racked up. If you include the time spent with best friends, therapists and any other listening ear, we can almost double the hours spent thinking about the relationships. While they are important conversations to have, we are often focused on...

The Path To Safety Within The truth is we all need healing. Our healing journey is individual AND collective. Our healing is complex, especially right now. We are in the midst of continued repealing of laws, selling off of historical landmarks, and quietly redesigning with the “American Way” is…without the full voice of America. It’s an uncomfortable time for the majority of people. The uncertainty continues to mount and more seems to be revealed by the moment. In moments like these, we...
